Part of the reason I set up this blog was for the year Secret Santa Review project I'm a part of. Read more here: http://reversethieves.com/secret-santa-project/
This year I chose Le Chevalier D'Eon, a 2006 Production I.G anime as my choice of an anime to watch for review. My review can be read here for my Secret Santa person to read: http://themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=1222
Update: My other two choices for the Secret Santa project were:
GA Geijutsuka Art Design Class - I decided not to review it because I saw the first episode and it didn't compel me to watch more.
Millennium Actress - I've wanted to see this for a long time, but we already have a review of it on the site, so I did not review it.
With that said - Merry Christmas, everyone!

Panty&Stocking with Garterbelt Talk: Episodes 1-4
Well, it took over 6 weeks, but I finally (as promised) brought you my opinion on Panty&Stocking with Garterbelt episodes 1-4.
First things first, I love the art style of the show. It's like a mishmash of Jhonen Vasqeuz, Craig McCracken, Gorillaz, and some really weird Japanese artists. The music, all of it provided by m-flo composer Taku, is also fantastic. Few anime's soundtracks stick out for me enough to want to buy them, but this series is one of the rare exceptions. And Stocking is a pretty cool character as well, and quite cute.
It's just a shame the series revolves so much around Panty. She's simply not funny. You can only take so much of a girl whose dialogue consists of almost nothing but innuendo and double entendres. This wouldn't be so bad if she didn't take 70% or so of the screentime, but she does, and thus it is.
Despite this, I still am curious as to how this series will turn out. Rumors about the grape vine say that the show gets much better once the villains come in episode 6.
Let's see how true they are.

Talk of the new season of anime
Well, here I will talk about in the next few days the new anime season, and any and all shows I'll be keeping up with. Not following many shows right now, but I'll let you what I think of the ones I do watch. My first will be about Gainax's new show Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. I'll post about the first two episodes in one future post since the show doesn't really have a plot to it.
Also, I'll be posting with each anime comment / mini-review a single picture that I either liked, was confused by, or creeped out by from the anime itself. Oh it will be fun(?). See you around when I do so.

Welcome to my blog!
Hopefully I'll maintain this one for more than a week.
Anyway, here I will post about whatever comes to mind.
So yeah, I'll see you around later.
